Meet Stuart
Stuart Roberts heads up our team with a deep-rooted dedication to excellence. Alongside a company-wide commitment to ongoing training and professional accreditation to ensure ultimate safety and compliance.
These core values stem from his father Stanley who oversaw Stuart’s apprenticeship with the business in the 1980s.
Forty years on, the family’s promise to deliver first-class service continues. Apprentices are now taken under Stuart’s wing and always adopt the same high standards across their work and customer relationships.
All our plumbers and heating engineers are City & Guilds qualified and DBS checked, and undergo continual training to ensure their knowledge is always up to date. This approach means we have a loyal, professionally competent team capable of handling jobs of any shape or size. And who really care about every single one.
Our Proud History
Stan and Hilary Roberts founded their Chester plumbing and heating business in 1967.
Starting small, they gradually took on local plumbers as they expanded, always with a focus on training new apprentices.
Four years later, they set up Stanley Roberts HQ in Upton from where the company continues to operate.
After 29 dedicated years, Stan handed over the reins to Stuart in 1996. To keep the family tradition going strong, Hilary passed the office management to Liz five years later.
